Article: Week's Pick | Moonshine

Moonstone

Week's Pick | Moonshine

This Week's Pick is all about the moonstone! Moonstones are characterized by their play of light and have a mysterious way of shimmering as they move. As a result, they never look the same. The Romans actually believed that moonstones came from solidified rays of the moon. The stones were brought to popularity by the famous French goldsmith, René Lalique, during the period of Art Nouveau from 1890-1910.

One of Liel and Lentz's defining features is the juxtaposition of different materials, and the relationship between the moonstone and wood could not be more beautiful!
